One Month Has Passed...

Time does fly by. Mr. Alexander Pants (why I call him that, I have no clue) was one month old yesterday. He is doing well. We all are.

I realize this photo looks a little funny because of the angle, but I love it. Alexander's eyes are open and he looks like a little man. I think he may be thinking, "weird lady, put down the stupid camera and give me your boob."

Oh, Abby, that last picture is one of the most precious I've ever seen. Brought tears to my eyes. It's just perfect.

SNowing there, huh? We were at the beach a few days ago ... I'm not missing Missouri.

A month already? Time flies. He's a cutie.

Davis has missing pants ALL THE TIME. I can not keep the boy dressed. And he is always ice cold as well. Nuts that boy.....

If I told him he would turn into a Popsicle, he would think that was funny and want to see if it wou7ld happen....

Welcome, Little One

Both mommy and baby are doing very well. These are just a few from earlier today. More to follow later.

Why Choose It?

Judy posted a comment about being jealous at two weekends away from the kids. About how she figured it would be a long time before she got that chance. I have to admit, I thought better her than me to have the new baby. After our two weekends away and Mark joking that it was his ploy to convince me to not have anymore, I have to say.....I think it worked. After thinking about it and being able to get away so easily because the kids are bigger, I could not help but think, why go back and do it all again? If you had a choice between going out of town for the weekend or being stuck, tied down to a newborn who was feeding from your breasts every two hours and waking every three ,which would you choose? To which one might say why ever have kids at all.....fine. I have TWO. I have done it TWICE. Not only that, but for anyone who cares about it, I have one of each. One is almost seven, the other almost three. Granted Davis is not potty trained yet, but he does change his own diaper sometimes...

Shameless Confession

I love to read. I have since I was little. I also have a bad habit of getting completely engrossed in what I am reading. Getting so wrapped up that I can not put the book down until I know what happens. I am still this way. I have no self control when it comes to reading. That is not the shameless part. What is shameless is what I like to read. Chick lit. There I said. I like to read the mindless dribble that is chick lit. Not romance novels. Just your run of the mill chick lit. Over the past couple of weeks I have reignited my love of reading. And I gave into the chick lit. What is it about this genre that does me in? I have found that I enjoy the books that involve being a mom as well. Which makes sense. It is relateable on that level in some way. I can not quite put my finger on the draw. The last three books I have read, I have been able to identify with the main characters in some way. Seeing as to how they were all moms. I also seem to like (this is even more ...
